The Band's ten piece ensemble was out and about last saturday (30th May 2009) entertaining residents in four of Tredegar's residential care homes.

As part of their commitment to giving back to the community, Tredegar Ten played to enthusiastic audiences at the homes whilst taking in the glorious weekend weather. Playing outside at the first home, the ensemble performed several of their favourite pieces which included  "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square", "Playa Del Ray", "Mr. Jums" and finishing off rousingly with "Hootenanny".          

The ensemble was thanked by Staff at each home who commented that they were looking forward to the ensemble's next visit. Members of the Band will return during December 2009 for their annual carol playing visit.

The ensemble has plans to visit two further homes in Tredegar and also a number in other local towns.
